Temo Sunrooms
Harry D. Akers - Lighting Director
The challenge was to make the sunrooms look like they were in different areas of the country, at different times of the day and in
different weather.
The cyclorama walls were painted so stage right looked like the southwest, center stage looked midwest and stage left looked southeastern.
We lit for bright sunlight, night, clear, rain, sunset, moon, stars and lightning.
In the night scenes, the camera operator could
even pull back from a tight shot of the mountians (painted on the wall) and you can see lights (we placed) in the far away
cities!
The Client reported that the Dealers believe the sunrooms were shot on location.
That made this shoot just flat out fun!
